Apple blossom

First it was our pear trees, and now it's the turn of our  apple trees. to produce  blossom. I think the pink and white flowers are so pretty.
Today we've been out and about. First we cycled to uke class, then it was a quick turnaround to go to Pilates class, and this evening out to the  local RSPB meeting for a talk about  wildlife in Antarctica, Falkland Islands and South Georgia, by ornithologist Keith Betton. It would  be wonderful to visit these areas in person, but I do worry that  tourism must be upsetting the  delicate  ecosystems in these special places.
