I didn't watch the ceremony or any of the TV coverage surrounding it.But obviously, I did grab a screen shot for my own records to mark the date.
I have no axe to grind on any side of the debate about the monarchy.
Will it survive in Canada?
Well, the short answer is that to get rid of it requires x% of a majority in the federal government and y% of a majority in each of the provinces so the amount of work involved to do it is probably best left to Father Time because quite frankly, the Monarchy has no bearing on people's lives here whatsoever.
