Coronation Quiche

Our eldest niece and partner dropped by this morning and (a surprise) she brought a coronation quiche she had made. She had made the recipe to the letter, just adding extra cheese. The reviews of it I’ve seen have been so so. We’ve had some this evening. It’s good. She had also made a quiche for the two of them, but as she doesn’t like tarragon has substituted that for parsley in the version they’re eating. .

Extra - I took them for a stroll around nearby Risley Moss. The first brimstone butterfly I have seen this year - it landed on a conveniently close dandelion flower.
