Deep Thinker?

My sister believes Oscar is a deep thinker - pondering the meaning of life! I think he is rather stupid!! He stands / sits a lot without moving even when called! In an effort to bond with him again I fed him treats today - must have worked as this eve he actually came close to me and I could cuddle him! He does like a cuddle but he is not one to initiate one - apart from doing so with people who come to  visit! 
Yesterday sister and I watched the coronation - I was pleased the guy I used to do TaiChi with could take Oscar out to the field so she got to watch it. I wasn't bothered - I'm not a Royalist, but as an historical event it was interesting! I did think they both looked a little befuddled, him more so. But it's the event he was waiting for all his adult life and must have brought his mother to mind . 
My sister watched a programme about the making of all the uniforms for the event which she said was most interesting - I may watch that!
Today was not a good day pain wise - both knee and hip painful and no position eased it. By late afternoon it began to subside so that was a great relief!
