Weather Sent to Try Us

The typical Coronation Bank Holiday weather came to town this morning, so I was a very wet Lady ploughing through the rain and puddles to board a tram and travel westwards to meet up with my school friend for coffee.
We usually meet on a Monday morning in the Ivy on the Square about once a month but with a husband just out of hospital, she is grounded for the next few weeks.

Her garden was looking extremely well manicured and a blip of it made it into the can, beating  the one of a rain soaked Forrest Road I took as I waited for a bus into town.

The cherry blossom in the Meadows is looking a bit faded and soggy now after the weather of the last week. It has had very little sunshine to make the blossom think it worthwhile to stick around for long on the bough.
