Family bike ride

Well, it all went according to plan! After a morning of cricket coaching for em and h, we all headed off down the cole green way to meet mum and dad at the Cowper Arms. All legs pedalled hard and we even managed the final stint up hill without any major strop (progress indeed!)
A bit of gardening and a welcomed visit from my sister, who we persuaded to stay overnight. A couple of glasses of wine, bbq'd burgers and a good catchup with Sally and Bruce.

All in all - a perfectly balanced day. And oh, how lovely it is when the sun shines!
