Lovely half-day with Eben

Luca caught a D and V bug at the end of last week, just as the whole family had arrived at a campsite in N Wales for a weekend away. They had to come all the way back after only one night away.
So instead of looking after Luca today, we spent time with Eben. First, he and I went swimming. Then we chilled out for a while at home. After that, I took him to a local music school for a free trial drum lesson (something we'd booked a while ago, at E's request).
What a pleasure to watch E discovering a full-size drum kit. The tutor was lovely, with a relaxed and encouraging approach. So Eben is keen to have regular lessons - I'm delighted.
