Berries.....!!

My berries look like they are doing ok so far...Blackcurrants ..Redcurrants and Red Gooseberries...
All new shrubs....I’m pruning and trying to keep these a small size as they do like to ‘lose the run of themselves ‘ and get enormous...!
These were taken today before we had the all-day forecast and threatened thunderstorm...we had the heaviest downpour ever...(like a waterfall) from the gutter outside the kitchen window and thankfully a very short spell of thunder and lightening as Mel was beside herself with fear... took us all out strength to calm her.
Thank you again for all your kind thoughts and wishes ...I am feeling very much better on every score...still taking things carefully...and appreciating the good days...
Our Son was here yesterday and today as his GF was away visiting a friend, so it was a busy 2 days cooking and baking but so good to have his company for the few days..
My MiL is not so good today so not sure what the night will bring.
