Killing Time
Not quite the ‘Twilight Zone’ but some will recognise that period of time between waking and heading back off, weekend or long leave. You don’t want to appear keen to get away neither do you want to leave it late. You need to be back in time to be ready for whatever Monday brings.
Breakfast, showered and once Sam had arrive to “Paddy Wrangle” Josh and I headed off for a leisurely walk in the sunshine.
The view out from the pier towards Flushing is ever changing, we have looked at it together since he was young, coffee and then the open topped ‘Coaster’ double decker bus circuit of Falmouth, chatting and relaxing before arriving back at our starting point.
Another coffee and home, Sunday roast prepared, cooked and served in time for Josh to set off and arrive back in good time.
Todays photo shows one of the pavement markers which act as guides for the walk. You follow a trail of these attractive plaques and they take you to key vantage points in the town, and with the aid of the Walkway maps and accompanying text you can open up the past history of key buildings and locations.
