Growing out of place

Sweet little bloom.

Just in the middle of the patio. It’ll get trodden on pretty soon.

At this time of year, when the garden is opening up, I often get the urge to chop back severely or even to remove shrubs that have just gotten too big. Then I feel guilty. Tricky.
