Lazy Sunday

I wish I was one of those people who can remember recipes off the top of my head. Instead, whenever I want to make a crumble I have to get out my kids cookbook, complete with illustrations and easy to follow instructions for beginner bakers.

I didn't do a lot today - I was so, so tired, and also pretty sore from squash yesterday. I somehow managed to avoid a hangover but I had very little energy so I didn't get up to much. I did make an apple and berry crumble, and I also finished my book (so, so good) so it was a nice way to spend a Sunday!

Pictured here is my crumble before I put the crumble on. I thought the berries looked nice against the apple, and you can also see my awesome cookbook (now about 15 years old) in the background.
