Springing into life

JJ and I went to our local plant nursery this morning to check over the plants and decide what the garden needs.  Several items I couldn't get, which will entail a trip to one of the garden centres before too long.

Gardening before lunch and also this afternoon.  I'm trying to discourage ants, which love burrowing inside the pots, by placing one pot upside down inside a larger one, which is then filled with water.

The Merlin bird app has thrown up another couple of anomalies.  We apparently have an Oriel and a Bittern in the vicinity.  I don't think so.

This evening we are going to our local pub with friends and I'd like to bet we all have fish and chips.
