Mystery no more

On Sunday I discovered the names of the mystery shrub / tree in the garden - Exochordia The Bride!  It really is looking magnificent at the moment.  Had a rest day today so didn't go out for a walk despite the glorious weather, and just missed the evening light on the plants.  Still looks fab though.  I can totally see why the neighbours were all worried asking if we were chopping it down when we gave it a wee trim last summer as it is a sight to behold!
