Storm Front

The cycle home today felt like a bit of a race against time - could I get home before the storm clouds overtook me?  In the end, I got a few big drops of rain and that was about it.  The  sky was pretty impressive though and the cycle very enjoyable in the heat and the sun.

Been a bike day today, at work we have a few staff bikes that rarely get used, but seeing as they fall under the heading of 'employee benefits' that sort of fall under my responsibility.  A colleague had asked if they could use one, but the tyres are all very flat.  This led to me pumping up tyres on my lunch break, and sod's law our Board Chair walked in just whilst I was in the middle of it!  The first time I ever met our Board Chair was whilst I was sorting out raffle prizes and had a large number of wine bottles on my desk.  I must be giving out such a great impression...
