Big Weekend

This little lady is The Carmenator.

It's her birthday on Monday and she's with me this weekend, so we thought we'd try and make it a birthday extravaganza for her.

That's why today we went swinging through the trees at Brockhole on The Treetop Trek and am proud to say that my little girl finished both course when boys older than her had to bow out as they found it too tough going!

The course finishes with a zip line across the park, which I thoroughly recommend if you're ever in the area.

When we got home, we sat out in the garden for a little while and despite the glorious sunshine, all she wanted to do was finish her homework so she didn't have to worry about it over halfterm.

Very proud to be her father.
