Skilled workmanship…

I’d have loved to stay and watch this craftsman. We learnt he’s been doing specialist car upholstery for 43 years and maybe our awe and wonder came across as somewhat patronising. He couldn’t help us but told us of a man who can.

A rare day when neither of us had any commitments or activities. We chose to visit our local recycling centre and off- loaded things that couldn’t be repaired, re-used or re-created.

Later two of our young friends visited while Mum and Dad had an appointment. Remember they’d told me they are too old for Playmobil? Apparently they’ve changed their minds. We created games from nothing and had a great time.
