Scout Scar

The postman brought me a parcel this morning, containing a replacement iPhone which is a hand me down but still better than my old one, and a lovely Lush bath bubble bar! Presents from Graham and Gilly.

After a busy morning baking we grabbed a lull in the showers to take Misty up to Scout Scar for a walk.

I tried out the phone camera and it does good close ups with a x2 facility.

We spotted a few creatures on the gorse and there was a willow warbler singing, and one or two butterflies.

It seems like a cold and late spring here, the swallows are only just arriving and I’m still covering my precious strawberry plants at night, as they have been getting black eye!
