Bloo-bells

I’m jumping on the bluebell bandwagon today. Well, they are rather gorgeous.

It has been a beautiful day, sunny and warm, with flowers flouncing and birdies twittering. Summer! After my zoom Chemistry session with a GCSE student in the Philippines (I know her granny, this is one of my volunteering activities) I drove to Montalto Estate to meet up with my pal the Veep for a long awaited walk in the ‘Lost gardens’. Obviously they’ve been found now. The gardens were nice, I wouldn’t say fabulous, and there is a lovely little stream burbling through the valley. We didn’t clock up our usual steps as the Lost garden isn’t huge, but we felt we deserved coffee and a bun anyway.

Pleasant enough drive home, although the traffic was a tad troublesome. I’m happy to have a choice of blips today. I liked the curving shape of the blue-ness in this photo and it’s also good for Flower Friday. Yay!
