Clematis

This lovely clematis flowers for a relatively short time, but it’s always beautiful and a herald of warmer weather.

It has been beautifully warm today! The AM took the boat out for a sail in Belfast Lough after servicing the engine yesterday. I presume all went well as he’s safely back in the marina again. I decided to enjoy the afternoon in the garden as rain is forecast for tomorrow.

We didn’t get to see the aurora although we did go hunting for it last night, which proved fruitless. I was impressed by the number of people out doing the same! That was the trouble. A dark site doesn’t stay dark for long when cars appear every 30 seconds. Why do folk leave their headlights on when trying to get their eyes dark-adapted? Twittish behaviour.
