Cast Away

I was delighted to spot this hawthorn (May) in flower today. Official permission to start casting ma clouts! It has been a lovely warm day.
I've been on babysitting sorry today at Josie's parents are at a wedding. I took over at 12 noon and we've had a lovely day. Colin came over after lunch and we took Josie and the pug to the park stopping for coffee (or tea in my case) and a scone at the Dower House.
Back home Josie and I read stories and sang songs. I'm very impressed at her ability to sing not just in tune, but to hold a key.
I'm now relaxing with Eurovision on in the background and reading my book having completed the babysitters task of tidying the kitchen.
