In the pink

This snazzy sofa belongs to the  latest hairdresser to open in town. 
 
 And it’s  a talking point: you either love it or hate it.
 
People are divided over whether we would be happy to sit in public view of every passers by, i.e. friends and neighbours, while having our hair washed and blow-dried.
I certainly wouldn’t. Would you?
 
 But then I am not twenty-something with long blonde hair and they are the clientele. Meanwhile older residents like myself are rather sniffy about this upstart in town.
 
PS Spot the selfie in the mirror. Incidentally we have five hairdressers, plus a Turkish barber, not bad for a small town with a population of just over 5,000.
