War

These days you cant turn on the telly, open a newspaper or smartphone without being confronted with images of war or social unrest in some part of the world.
I am reminded of the song: “ It’s all so pointless…death is coming your way anyway.”
For me these “heads”, part of  an installation I am working on in my studio for an exhibition later this year, sums up my feelings towards war in all its forms. 
Good neighbours, a good deed
On a more cheerful note, I came home this evening to find our neighbours had cut our grass verge.  See extra. ( M is away on a walking holiday and I had grumbled to them earlier about all the garden preparations I was having to do  for Open Gardens)..
