Another grey day . . .

. . . but we picked up a car this morning and headed out to see some of the island. First stop was Lixouri which was mostly closed. There were several ferries in the port but nothing moved while we were there. I'm not sure if this was due to it being Sunday or maybe just still early in the season but we still managed a coffee and cake. We then headed down to see some of the beaches on the Paliki peninsula and have lunch in a place recommended to us. The owner was very welcoming and we enjoyed their special of the day - the best stifado we've ever had. Suitably stuffed, we continued our loop and finally back to our accommodation where the evening sun made an appearance for an hour.
