In extras a beautiful copper beech tree.
As it is Rogation Sunday, we were Beating the Bounds of the Benefice.  In the olden days the parish boundaries were marked by walking round them and striking certain points with rods.   A large procession, headed by the clergy would beat the bounds over two days.  We did it today in the car as the Benefice has 4 churches several miles apart!
