Grey Gables

Open garden - some beautiful colour and variety; both formal gardens and woodland, tennis courts, pool, a mini maze, and distinctive 'Arts and Crafts Vernacular' house (I had to look it up). A pleasant couple of hours including a rather nice cream tea on the lawn (one of the lawns) but the sun was in hiding and we were rather cold!

News: My sis-in-law has moved in with me temporarily (I didn't have the house to myself for long!) so today involved some reorganisation. I think we make a good team but I do feel a little disoriented. Not adjusted yet to my daughter moving out - although she did join us for dinner this evening :)
