Village life

Today it was the village's inaugural wheelbarrow race. 500m and 3 pints in fancy dress - I'm not sure the entrants imagined a heat and then a final, so the winners had downed 6 pints!

A bride and groom, a pair if monkeys, a pair if tigers, a man in a dress and a man in his pants were just a few of the entrants to note.

It was also a neck and neck finish that left the local pub team toppled out of their barrow in an attempt to grab the lead in the last straight on the inside.

A lovely afternoon out - only 2 weeks until the raft race!!!!
