Although it looks cool and refreshing, it’s not! It was so very hot and humid today! Simply miserable!

This afternoon we took a little road trip to the Plantation Agricultural Museum. The museum’s focus is on the agricultural of Arkansas, especially cotton, between 1836 through WWII. Besides the museum there is a historic cotton gin, seed warehouse, and several vintage tractors.

Behind the museum was a pretty lake. It was too swampy for me to get any closer. But, any time there’s water I have to take a picture!

My Mother’s Day ended with long conversations with my two kids.
