Portola Redwood State Park

Today we drove to the coast, saw spectacular waves crashing against the rocks, stopped at an old time General Store, and made it to our final destination of old redwood trees. These trees get up to 280 feet tall and some are thought to be older than 1,200 years old! It was amazing to stand in a grove of such ancient living giants!
