Painted Lady

Enjoyed some sunshine today, even if it felt a little fresher! And we took a trip to Leigh for a wander round the shops as we'd not been for quite some time.  

Walked back through the churchyard which was looking lovely as they'd let wildflowers grow and mowed paths into the grass so I had fun chasing this little painted lady butterfly around until it settled.  Still quiet in our garden on the butterfly front, other than small holly blues darting about.

Writing letters this afternoon as I'm behind on some of my penpal mail!
