More butterfly chasing today! This time at the nature reserve on Canvey! Why can't they just sit nicely, pose and then be on their merry way?!

Lovely sunshine today so lots of birdsong to hear while we were out - heard the cuckoo again but didn't see it! But did see whitethroat, greenfinch, goldfinch and peacock butterflies.

And a spot of gardening this afternoon, digging up a bed of tulips and putting some wildflowers and perennials in their place.  Is it wrong I'd like to order some rain to water them in nicely for me?! the sunshine is making all my pots wilt too - droopy pots are never a good thing haha!!
