Mouse ears

At last 'mouse ears'. But still so cold that there are no butterflies, no bees, nothing for the birds to eat.
I am reading that there is a movement called No Mow May to preserve weeds and flowers for the insects at least till the end of May, but the word has not reached Finland yet, the mowers are buzzing on every back yard here.
