Mini Marsh Frog on a Lily Pad …

… or I think it is. It must have been “born” in the warm spell we had in late February. I have been to the Grand Marais (extra) to try to see the adults blowing their “balloons”, 7 times this spring but it really is still too cold for them to be in full breeding song.

We have friends coming for dinner now so will be occupied this evening. One of them is blipper “Wildmint” who I haven’t seen for ages. Looking forward to that but must get on now.
