Poppy and Preston

Today was a big day for Preston as he went to hospital in Lausanne to have the external metal removed from his leg. It is not simple as he still had some swelling in the tissues of his leg. Now, with a simple cast on for three weeks, we wait to see if the odema disappears. While he was having his operation I walked by the lake and found a few poppies in the only bit of sunshine we had all day. Now he’s out for the count having taken a strong painkiller as he was in a lot of pain when we got home this afternoon.
