Shippytrouty Wood

Sadly there is not much wood left, probably down to overgrazing by sheep. The gorse (whins) are flowering full pelt now but that acid yellow hurts my eyes.
Not sure of the derivation of the name, maybe from the gaelic but is certainly nothing to do with either ships or fish!
