Jet Wash

The Cherry Blossom is beautiful to look at - When it's on the tree!
Trouble is that it falls off the tree, blows everywhere and then settles when it rains. The resin gravel hold onto the damp, rotting, petals and they would turn into compost encouraging grass, weeds and moss to grow. 
So, out comes the jet washer (Karcher) and I had to go over the whole front to blast it all away, moving the cars back and forth to be able to cover the whole thing.
Trouble is, not sure it's a great idea because mostly it has just mulched the petals into tiny fragments, which are then absorbed into the equally tiny gaps in the resin. I know this because there is no pile of petals in front of the washer jet, it just seems to disappear! 
At least it looks a whole lot cleaner now.
