Agave leaves

I have a new baby agave. Agaves are cool because the outer leaves strongly imprint the leaves underneath and the patterns are visible for the entire life of the leave. The cool red spines are bonus as are the wonderful flowers, but the flowers are a blip for another day.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, a wonderful day spent with the baby, yard work and the flowers that astonish me every day.
