Stairway to . . . . .

. . . . . the garage. Our joiner man is on the last stage of building a new stairway to replace the horrible steps made from bits of kerbing - our shortcut down to the garage at the road side. I think he hopes to have it finished by tomorrow, then I have the wonderful job of painting it all with wood preservative!

Spent a large part of today in the garden, finishing off yesterday's job. I must admit that my current working days are somewhat shorter than my real working days when I would be out from 8an to 6pm. But then I was paid for it, of course!

I really must begin to plant out some of the many plants I have growing on in pots. Maybe I should acquire some more containers!
