Let Us Spray

This farmer was busy spraying a field (and at least one other) this morning…the spray was a  green/yellow colour…no idea what the chemical was or what it was for….I guess it is some sort of prevention rather than a cure as there is nothing actually growing yet!

It was a glorious sunny morning again - almost summery…so I had a nice warm 4.5 mile walk.

I did spend a little time in the garden pulling weeds (ivy, bindweed and other stuff) and I did a little trial patch of raking moss off the front garden…decided not to bother any more as there is little grass growing once the moss has been removed. This gardening lark is soul destroying.

Some good news this week…the little store in the village has reopened (under new management) and the Post Office bit should open in July. A useful facility to have…
