Meet The Goose Families

It is Mrs madwill’s birthday today…and we had an outing to Cannon Hall Park near Barnsley and met up with our daughter. We have been to the farm there a few times with the granddaughters..but not to the park part.

We started off with coffee and bacon/sausage baps..followed by a wander around the garden centre there - some plants were purchased! We walked around the lower part of the park and spotted loads of ducks/geese/coots with their offspring.

We then went up to the hall and walked around the walled gardens. Then to the cafe for lunch of tea and cake…I had a rather splendid piece of chocolate cake..see extra.

We had a look around the farm shop and seem to have purchased some packs of meat that were on offer….
