Rance valley

Public holiday today, in France and the UK, so all round good.

In the afternoon we took the fluffy one for a walk. The river was high today and so we took a different route, we went along the top of the beach and then instead of exploring the wet sand for watery beasties, we took an inland loop and looked for terrestrial beasies. The dog had a great time, and I took the main picture showing the river in its valley. The extra is a shot across the river towards a tree on a hill - where the rape is coming to the end of the flowering.
