Patience Pays Off!

Earlier this year my husband was talking about cutting down our huge Crape Myrtle in the front yard,  because the ice storms had been hard on many trees in our area, including this one.  I asked him to give it some time and be patient.  As you can see, our patience was rewarded.  All I had to do was look up!  Perfect for the Wide Wednesday challenge, "Look Up".  Oh, I did put a picture in the extras of my macro from yesterday.  It is a flower that we call a Mexican Hat, a type of Coneflower, I think.  Thanks to Bob'sBlips for hosting.....
