Alas still no woodpecker

A birdie day.

The main is a Coal tit waiting it’s turn on the feeder; then first extra a chaffinch - feeding on the ground and a great tit also waiting its turn on the feeder.

We also had bluetits and a pair of loved up doves but no Woodpecker.

Our outing today took us out past Keswick and to the far end of Bassenthwaite lake and a walk along the banks of the river Derwent where  we were greeted by this friendly robin and it’s baby (second extra).
