Matlock Bath station - also the National Collection of Brickwork Patterns.

The beginning of a busy weekend. Today I took the afternoon off and we drove up to Matlock Bath. Weather and traffic were not great, but both improved as we headed north.

After a leisurely meal at the local pub/hotel we had a bit of a wander before going back to the B&B. This is the deserted station late in the evening. I don't know its history but it's one of the quirkier station buildings around.
