Catch up

A morning at the shops stocking up on compost for the greenhouse. Then a flurry of emails before getting ready to meet up with a couple of university friends.

We met just under 50 years ago when we started our course at Heriot-Watt university. One I had not seen for a few decades and it was lovely to catch up.

We did an afternoon tea with home made cheese scones, some other savouries and a home made cake (thanks to my wife) with some Scottish strawberries and home made jam.

Then I went straight into an evening church meeting which finished near 10pm. Fortunately some cake was left over when I got home. So I caught up with that!
