Little Boy

We got back from a fantastic vacation yesterday and thought all was well with our 7 children (4 cats/3 dogs). After dinner, Little Boy (blipped Feb 5) got up on the bed with Maggie (Toy Fox Terrier). Little Boy is afraid of Maggie and has never gotten that close to her willingly. When I went to check on him, his fur and body just didn't feel right. He had lost an incredible amount of weight in just 5 days.

We took him to the animal hospital this morning and they ran blood work and various other tests. At this point, the only thing they know is that he is severely dehydrated and don't know if he is suffering from the dreaded "C" word or if there is something else going on. He is staying overnight and has an IV to get hydrated. The doctors will most likely give him an ultrasound on Tuesday morning to see if there is any evidence of growths or blockages.

It's heartbreaking to see him in this condition and that he can be treated quickly so that he can get back to normal...
