Pals

A very pleasant day all round. This morning  we went on a RSPB walk around Kings Worthy (village near Winchester ) with S who lives there. In one paddock we came across this lovely pair of pals engaged in mutual grooming, unbothered by the Mistle  Thrush  hopping almost under their hooves. It was also good to  see some Linnets, and  a Peregrine  Falcon flying overhead (possibly "William" who is nesting with "Winnie"on Winchester cathedral?)
This afternoon I visited  my Mother  and took her out to Beechcroft farm shop and tea barn for  a cuppa. The we had a short walk in nearby bluebell woods and sat at a viewpoint listening to the  birdsong.
