Brimstone butterfly
I visited Risley Moss, our local nature reserve, this morning. My first sighting of dragonflies and damselflies this year - in the extra what I think is a large red damselfly (an imaginative name) and a common blue damselfly. The main blip is a brimstone butterfly feeding on red campion. I also had a brief sighting of that fast falcon the hobby, far too far off and fast to even contemplate photographing. Dragonflies are its major prey item.
