Almost a sunset

Some of our Camera Club went to Hartland Quay this evening hoping for a sunset.  We almost got one, but just as the sun appeared from behind the cloud, more clouds rolled in and obliterated it!  Such is life!
There were quite a lot of gulls nesting on the various rocks - one in extra - sitting on three eggs. 
The sea pinks are giving a great display.
