Sliabh Liag

It was damp and misty this morning and after going shopping and Turfing in Omagh we went over to Donegal. The weather gradually got better and we went to view the cliffs of Sliabh Liag. They are billed as the tallest Sea Cliffs in Europe, one of at least 3 such places. We have been to the Norwegian entry (it’s higher). The other entrant and undoubtedly the most realistic cliff is Cape Enniberg in the Faroes. The cliffs at St John’s Head on Hoy have a higher vertical (or near vertical) drop than here. It just depends how you look at it. When we arrived at the viewing platform it was quite misty but it cleared to give us the view.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a hole in a rock.
