Garden
Today members of our camera club had a garden visit and thoroughly enjoyable it was too. This garden is in Wasdale and open as part of the National Garden Scheme and was worth it. there were many plants of different colours but this iris caught my eye not only because of the colour but its shape too. It was like a technicolour garden with pinks, shade, of red, orange white and blues, all close to Wastwater and the Screes. This was organised by Blippe, Derwentwentlass and we are grateful for her efforts. Needless to say tea and scones were served. The extras show shrubs across the River Irt, another coloured iris with a 'tongue' of stamen and a collection of blue and pink bells.
